But DS Ives has a bad feeling about the woman’s disappearance. DI Harry Blaker is called to a hit and run of an elderly man left to die on a quiet country road. There is no motive and it looks like a tragic accident. But he’s been working Major Crime long enough to know that something isn’t quite right. The two officers find their investigations intertwine and they will need to work together. But they must work fast. Time is running out for the woman in the container. And the killer has already identified his next target.

Charlie Gallagher was a serving UK police officer for 13 years. During that time he had many roles – starting as a front-line response officer, he became a member of a specialist tactical team and finally a detective investigating serious offences. Charlie left to concentrate on writing full time.

Antonia Beamish is a London actor and voice artist who performed with Circus Archaos before being awarded a scholarship to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts NYC. She returned to London and was cast as the lead in Educating Rita for a European tour. Antonia is a prolific voice actor, with roles in Larian Studios's Divinity: Original Sin, and many audiobooks, including The Truth About Melody Brown by Lisa Jewell and Elodie Brown’s The Wolf Den Trilogy.
