She practiced as an attorney in New York before returning to school to receive her MFA from Sarah Lawrence College. She lives in New York with her husband, four children, and two very bossy dogs. A graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Devon Sorvari has traveled extensively across the country, performing in everything from Shakespeare and musical theater to Gilmore Girls and a Hellraiser movie.
