MARILYN CLAY is the acclaimed author of over thirty books, including twenty-one novels, three books for children and numerous non-fiction titles, including three books on Regency period furniture. A former University Editor with the University of Texas at Dallas, Marilyn Clay enjoyed a long career as a professional commercial artist and illustrator in Dallas before beginning to write novels. In 1991, she founded The Regency Plume, an international newsletter focused on the English Regency period in English history. The Regency Plume ceased publication in 2006, although all 94 timeless issues of the newsletter are still available for purchase from The Regency Plume website.
