Kelly DiPucchio is the author of several picture books, including Sipping Spiders Through a Straw: Campfire Songs for Monsters, Grace for President, Gaston, Oona, Liberty's Journey, and Dinosnores. Reviewers have praised her work as "hilarious," admiring her writing's "rollicking rhythm."She attended Michigan State University, where a creative writing professor strongly encouraged her to submit work for publication. However, it wasn't until after her children were born that she became interested in writing picture books.
