Brenda Hampton is a native St. Louisian, with a gift and passion for writing. She maintained journals for several years, but it wasn’t until she read Terry McMillan’s Disappearing Acts that Hampton was prompted to explore writing in ways she never thought were possible.
Nikki-Michelle resides in Metro-Atlanta, Georgia, by way of Lexington, Mississippi. Carl Weber is a New York Times bestselling novelist and the founder of the publishing company Urban Books. His works include The First Lady, So You Call Yourself a Man, The Preacher’s Son, Married Men, and the bestseller She Ain’t the One, which was cowritten with Mary B. Morrison. He was named the Blackboard Publisher of the Year in 2005 and owns a chain of bookstores called Urban Knowledge. A graduate of Virginia State University, he lives on Long Island with his family.
