AUDIO REVIEW 4.5 Stars for Don’t Mind If “I Do” I first read this book a while ago so I was excited to see how Teddy Hamilton and Ava Erickson would bring the characters and their story it to life, well they did a fantastic job. You could feel every emotion through their voices as I was once again taken back to Dr Nick and Mazzy Pemrooke’s world. This author is fairly new to me but with each book I pick up I still struggle to understand why she hasn’t crossed my radar long before now. I was excited for Don’t Mind If “I Do” and this book was everything I expected and more, it’s an entertaining read with wonderful characters. Doctor Nick is a character we first met in Hit or Miss because he is Ollie’s best friend and I was so happy he was getting his own story because this is a man who is very different to the playboy image he portray’s, in fact he is the total opposite of his image, he is man hiding the hurt and he has a heart of gold. Mazzy Pembrooke and Nick have a history, childhood friends and sweethearts before she walked out of his life but now she back asking him to make good on a childhood pack. The last thing Nick wants is to be married but when a situation at work forces him to clean his image up, this marriage seems a win win for both Nick and Mazzy but what happens when these two realise they still have feelings for each other...... I was captivated by this entertaining read, I laughed, I swooned and I found myself wishing and hoping this couple got the HEA they both deserved. This book ticked my boxes and I highly recommend you one click this gem of a read.

Wonderful Story & Narration🎧 Sweet & Delightful! ~ 📚 This is a wonderful story, a fake marriage between two people who were great friends until they had a fallout and wanted nothing to do with each other again, until one calls in on a childhood pact they made together and reluctantly the other agrees. This is my first book written by Everly Ashton, I enjoyed her writing style, the story she created is original, with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they were likable and easy to care about too.Mazzy Pembrooke and Nick Ryan were best friends growing up and their friendship was growing into something more. Mazzy wanted to take their relationship to the next level, Nick was on board with the idea, but between medical school and interning, he may not be enough for her, so he just wants to be friends. His decision broke her heart and then she does something that breaks his. They have not spoken for years, but when Mazzy needs to marry to have access to the money her Gramps left her, she reaches out to him because of the childhood pact they made. Nick, the player, has gotten himself in trouble at work and needs to clean up his act and reputation, when Mazzy first approached him about the pact they made he would not give her the time of day but after thinking about it he agrees to go along with the fake marriage. But they soon learn the feelings they had for each other never went away and spending time together reminds them how much they cared about each other. I adored how everything played out in the fabulous second chance romance, it is both beautifully and cleverly plotted with a perfect balance of drama, humor and witty dialogue, heartfelt emotions, heartwarming moments, and some steamy loving. Everly Aston, thank you for this fabulous story and the fun, emotional rollercoaster ride and I love Grey’s Anatomy too. I am looking forward to checking out more of your books, I hope they come to audio soon. 🎧 📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Everly Ashton cast the perfect narrators to bring her characters and story to life. Teddy Hamilton and Ava Erickson are wonderfully talented narrators and versatile voice artists. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, gave each a voice that fit that character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable in every role they played, and just as I pictured the characters to sound. Ava Erickson nailed it as Mazzy, making you feel her every emotion, and Teddy Hamilton did the same for Dr. McDreamy, playing his role with perfection. Both were great at covering the roles of the secondary characters, too. They set the perfect tone for the story, handled the witty dialogue with ease and landed the humor effortlessly. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their superb narration enhances the story to another level. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

Somehow Don't Mind If "I Do" is my first Everly Ashton book, and now I'm wondering how I've missed her. This was such a totally fun listen. Of course, there are feels too, and plenty of them, but the pacing and laughs turned out to be exactly what I needed this week. Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite romance tropes, and this one takes it a step further for a friends to enemies to lovers romantic comedy. Enemies to lovers is always good for some fun banter, and when you couple that with a pair that used to be friends, they really know how to generate some fire - of both kinds. Nick and Mazzy are a great couple, and all the feelings are there whether they want to admit them or not. Teddy Hamilton and Ava Erickson give voice to Nick and Mazzy, and while I've heard and enjoyed both before, this is the first time I've listened to them in the same book. Their voices suit these characters so well, and they do a terrific job of capturing the mood of the story. The author chose well with these narrators, and I look forward to more of her work as well as theirs.
