Born in Chatham, England, and partly raised in Dublin, Ireland, Liz Lawler is one of fourteen children and grew up sharing socks, pants, stuffed bras, and a table space to eat at. Liz spent more than twenty years working as a nurse, and has since worked as a flight attendant and as the general manager of a five-star hotel. She now lives in Bath with her husband. Don’t Wake Up is her first novel.
Zara lives in the heart of the Cotswolds with her two teenage children, husband and six chickens. She has been a professional actress for 21 years and also writes children’s stories and songs. Her television credits include Grandpa in my Pocket, The Canterville Ghost and Doctors. Her extensive audiobook credits include Peter Boland's Charity Shop Detective Agency series, as well as The Chronicles of St Mary's series and The Time Police series – both by Jodi Taylor.
