About this audiobook

Dodger is a tosher – a sewer scavenger living in the squalor of Dickensian London.

Everyone who is nobody knows Dodger. Anyone who is anybody doesn’t.

But when he rescues a young girl from a beating, suddenly everybody wants to know him.

And Dodger’s tale of skulduggery, dark plans and even darker deeds begins . . .

Marvellous story, beautifully narrated. It's an action love story which I'd never have guessed but thoroughly enjoyed! Get this version before they replace it with the awful new narrators instead of Stephen Briggs.

This is Far Superior with Stephen Briggs reading this Audio Book He worked with Terry, new and understood the Characters, it is astonishing. The new versions from Penguin with mass amounts of money chucked at them does not make for a good listen and are in fact absolutely terrible. Lost all the essence and pure magic of Terry Pratchett.

Terry Pratchett was the acclaimed creator of the global bestselling Discworld series, the first of which, The Colour of Magic, was published in 1983. In all, he was the author of over fifty bestselling books which have sold over 100 million copies worldwide. He was awarded a knighthood for services to literature in 2009, although he always wryly maintained that his greatest service to literature was to avoid writing any.

Stephen Briggs (Reader)
Terry Pratchett is fifty and lives behind a keyboard in Wiltshire, where he answers letters in a desperate attempt to find time to write. He used to grow carnivorous plants but now they've taken over the greenhouse and he avoids going in. He feels it may be time to get a life, since apparently they're terribly useful. Carpe Jugulum is the twenty-third novel in his phenomenally successful Discworld series.
