And what exactly was it that prevented the marriage of Ptolemy the Twelfth to the daughter of the mighty Pompey of Rome?
Maybe these middle-grade stories are true, maybe they’re not, but you’ll have fun reading them and you’ll learn a lot about ancient Egypt in the process. Maybe you’ll even like Cleopatra by the end of it, but I’m not promising anything!
