It's been quite a week for Joe Grey. First the large, powerful feline discovers that, through some strange, inexplicable phenomenon, he now has the ability to understand human language. Then he discovers he can speak it as well! It's a nightmare for a cat who'd prefer to sleep the day away carefree, but Joe can handle it. Shirley Rousseau Murphy is a noted children’s book author who has received several Dixie Council of Authors and Journalists Awards. She is also the author of the popular Joe Grey mystery series for adults, for which she has received nearly a dozen national Cat Writers’ Association Muse Medallions. She and her husband live in Carmel, California, where they serve as full-time household help for two demanding feline ladies.
Susan Boyce is the award-winning narrator of over 140 audiobooks. She performs in variety theater, is one half of the song-and-dance team of Jones & Boyce, and holds a degree in theater and biology. She can be heard in phone trees, in computer games, and as the voice of the pink “Care Bear.” She lives in St. Augustine, Florida, and summers in Greenville, Maine.
