When a deadly virus sweeps the country, Vivian Thomas sets out for California in hopes of seeing the daughter she gave up for adoption. Then her car breaks down and she's faced with a choice. While searching for a safe place to go, they pick up a pompous billionaire who may be the answer to all their problems. Trusting him means going into the middle of the Mojave Desert and possibly risking their lives, but with the streets overrun and nowhere else to turn, it seems he might be their only chance for survival...

If you haven't read this series yet then you are punishing yourself! I swear to you this is the series that got me ADDICTED to zombies!! I knit I should be reviewing the audio but honestly I haven't lisyened to it but I absolutely INDULGED in this series! Pls, even if you don't care for zombies per se then read this book for the story itself - you WILL thank me later - I pinky promise you (and i don't make promises lightly)
