Has Fate taken science and shown it who’s boss, when everything about Nico and Teilo is not what it seems?

Ben was looking out for the wider shifter population as acting council lead. The one thing that leaves him questioning what he is doing with everything which unfolds. Then one file—one photo changes everything and sends him on a race against time home to Paraguay to fight for what is most important—his mates.

Nico knows nothing other than a cage and the death he bestows on those the Devil wants dead. The one person who keeps his soul intact is his cage brother, Teilo. He is also the one the scientists and trainers use against him, knowing Nico would die for Teilo.

When the scientists leave them in their cages without a word, Teilo soon loses hope of ever getting a life outside the cage he dreams of with Nico, even if he doesn’t understand the connection he feels for him. Locked in their animal form, there is no way out!

Then everything changes when Ben—their mate—finds them. Will their lives be any different as they heal and work to figure out why the assassin—them—program is so special? Do the cage brothers hold the answers or does someone else?
