About this audiobook

The planet is called Banshee. The air is unbreathable, the water poisonous. It is the home of the most implacable enemies that humanity, in all its interstellar expansion, has ever encountered.

Felix is a scout in A-team Two. Highly competent, he is the sole survivor of mission after mission. Yet he is a man consumed by fear and hatred. And he is protected not only by his custom-fitted body armor, the culmination of ten thousand years of the armorers’ craft, but also by an odd being which seems to live with him, a cold killing machine he calls “the Engine.”

This bestselling science fiction classic is a story of the horror, the courage, and the aftermath of combat and also of how strength of spirit can be the greatest armor of all.

I'm not quiet through the entire book yet but so far I have found this story difficult to follow. Im just not getting into it like I usually do with audio book. The first part was decent the rest of the book bored me so much that I have lost interest. I can't see my self finishing this book by part three I had lost any interest. I finished it and it took me over 3 years to get through it. Chapter 1 and 5 were good. the rest was extramly painful to get through. The best thing I can say about it is that chapter 2,3 and 4 were extremely good at putting me to sleep. I'd listen for 15min and I'd be asleep every time.

Fantastic and brutal military sci-fi. A leap forward from Starship Troopers, and an absolute must read.
