The streaming service itself is alright but the app is terrible. Sometimes it fails to play videos, sometimes it locks itself into landscape mode which hides the menus, parts of peoples channels aren't visible or are partially visible, the search has no history or real-time results, and the picture-in-picture feature is unreliable. Great service, terrible app.

The shows are phenomenal, but the data consumption of the app is just insane. With just watching two show episodes every week I used upwards of 10gb of data this month. This could be solved by turning the resolution down, but sadly that feature seems to be missing in the app (on mob web it works fine). A better compression algorithm together with working quality settings would be great. Or an auto download new episodes of followed/selected shows with wifi would solve the problem too

Far too basic and glitchy considering it's a paid service, no auto captions, no playstation app so can't watch on TV, crashes a lot and fails to play videos, and it's difficult to jump to specific times in videos using the progress bar as it doesn't show how where in the video you are when you touch the bar. So if you lose your place you kind of just have to tap around hoping you can get to the same spot again (very annoying with longer videos.) Just a basic, poor quality video player tbh.

Whatā€™s new

Introducing a newly redesigned channel view for film channels. This layout highlights richer imagery, provides space for all of a filmā€™s contentā€”cast, details, bonus contentā€”and lets you follow a channel ahead of a filmā€™s full release.

Additional Improvements
ā€¢ Expanded and refined accessibility tags and labeling
