Pay attention! This app can only be used in combination with the ANWB Safe Driving Car Insurance. The ANWB Safe Driving App helps to gain insight into your driving behavior. You receive feedback on your driving style every 10 days and useful tips to improve it. Depending on how safely you drive, you will receive a driving score between 0 and 100. The level of your driving score determines the level of the extra discount on your premium. This can be as high as 30%. This discount, on top of your no-claim discount, will be settled with you at the end of each quarter.

I can't use android auto when connected to the beacon. I need android auto, as this is my way of using maps. Even without connection to the beacon it wants 100% of the time bluetooth and gps, even when not driving or nowhere near the car. It needs to measure my physical activity all the time. This is battery draining and pervasive information asking. 5 minutes of this app on my phone, -10% battery. It's the only app that's open. I will cancel my insurance asap. Pop ups every 30 sec....

Dear Avichayail, thank you for your review. Our app doesn't have any influence on the use of Android Auto. For a fair assessment it is important that all journeys are recorded. If the necessary functions are disabled, we cannot check whether driving is taking place. When you contact us, we can discuss any alternative insurances. ^MK

I just got the app and it's been quite bad. The app consumed 7.5% of my battery in the 5 hours it's been installed, it complains if the phone is on battery saver, and it will continue to track even if not in the car as there's a persistent notification that just won't go away. I've set it to sleep when not in use, but it seems it's always on. If you log out it also doesn't like it. So, it takes your phone hostage. Also creating an account was pretty painful.

Does what it's meant to do, but it DRAINS my battery, even when it's not in use. And that's not the Bluetooth, since when I force-close the app, there's no issue. And the continously warning and nagging that 'We can't read your driver behavior" ALL DAY LONG is driving me nuts. Because maybe, ANWB, it's because I AM NOT DRIVING 24/7... @ANWB feel free to contact me, if you would like to deepdive into this together (you have my contact on record! ;)

Dear Tim, it is not common for the app to consume a lot of power. Would you like to contact us? We would like to investigate whether this can be improved. At that time we can also discuss whether this insurance is still suitable. Closing the app is preventing the app from working properly. This is also against our terms and conditions. ^MK
