Despite how much I enjoy the game, I can't find it more than three stars due to a few issues: 1. I'm fine with it being harder to win but if I DO start well, and pull clear at the top, I would like to enjoy it sometimes. You don't ALWAYS have to script a bad run of results to create artificial competiton. 2. Most seasons involve a Man City-level injury crisis. At lower levels, this is a huge problem because the need to watch the wage bill makes it impossible to build actual depth.

I play this game every day, and can't put it down! I've previously had FC Light and FC Pro 1, and obviously had to install FC Pro 2 when it was released. Love the updates and improvements, such as kit designs, player history, UEFA competition updates etc... , and the look, feel and design is brilliant. Other little changes such as the way the manager now ages. Actually found this version much easier to progress through the divisions, but is harder once you get to the Premier League.

Slick and good. But, where 1 was too easy, 2 goes in the opposite direction and artificially so. See 2's Reddit page - players doing everything well but still win the league only once every few years. As others mention here too - difficulty feels scripted. Choosing a manager is a player's biggest decision, but managers have become an unpredictable minefield, too - their ratings fluctuate and it's hard to understand why. Better overall than 1, but less long term replay value.
