Spond makes it easy to organize groups for either children or adults, and you can invite to events, share posts and pictures. Spond handles sending out invites through either SMS, email or app and collects all the answers to give you a full overview.

(Edit: The user cap has now been increased so am adding a star.) This is a good app, let down by just a few small things (which we've frequently feature requested to no avail). These are: 1. Upping the 500 user cap; this would significantly enhance the experience for us. 2. Pinned posts. Sifting through all the posts and discussions to find an older one is an absolute nightmare. 3. Search function (I would choose this over pinned posts).

Does what it should but notification management needs a serious overhaul. All email notifications (not just the push notifications in the app) should be managed directly via the app. I don't want/need email notifications yet I still receive these for each new event, and then have have to manually unsubscribe per event to avoid multiple reminder emails. Not very user friendly.

Great and flexible for organising my band. You can add your own fields for additional information (dietary requirements or instruments played). An ability to set up longer running fundraisers would be useful as would an ability to upload multiple photos or videos in event chats would be useful.
