Had to upgrade (enforced) from a suited well working S1 app (4 STARS) to the new S2 release. What a frustration; tv does not auto turn on playbar, play1 and play3 (early releases). Play 3 did not even play, factory reset required, setup to add via temporary wifi did not work. Finally got it to work with network cable connention. The UI could be better, not intuïtieve. In short, dislike the new version. Rate is -1 star. The average is 4 start for S1 and now -1 star i.e. 1.5 star average.

This is just getting ridiculous! I bought Sonos years ago because it's supposed to be easy, plug & play etc. But mow my Sonos system keeps "losing" speakers which screws up the whole system. And then with every app update (which takes more like 15 minutes than the 2-3 they claim) my whole setup is erased and I have to spend another 15-30 minutes to set up all my speakers and rooms again. A regularly recurring Sonos nightmare!

Using Sonos in a company network is not recommended any certainly not in wireless networks. It broadcast so much traffic and requires more or less to have the speakers and clients to be in the same network. Since we're all on wifi, this can only work on private devices that are only allowed on our guest network. I miss the functionality to manually add IP-addresses for the speakers that we use. They have fixed IP-adresses.
