How it works:
Create an avatar then add tasks, chores, or goals you’d like to work on. When you do something in real life, check it off in the app and receive gold, experience, and items that can be used in-game!

UI is very unresponsive when trying to tick off tasks or tapping habits. Many times, it turns out that the server doesn't respond in time. There are better ways to go about this, ranging from locally storing changes until the server can be reached again, to slowly winding up the tick animation pending the server's confirmation that the tick was recorded, but this app doesn't implement them. Pity, because the various types of habit-forming/-supporting features are really cool.

Sorry to hear about this issue with load time and lag. You could try going to Menu - Settings - Reload Content. If you’re still having issues, we’d love to take a look - you can send a direct report via Menu - About - Support - Report a Bug

I absolutely love this app. I'm using it for one day now and already know this is going to be a game changer. The four stars are for two reasons. One: I'm not getting any notifications on my phone. Push notifications are turned on and every notification category in the app is selected as well. Is there a fix for this? Two: I'm missing an undo button for habits. I accidentally clicked a habit two times now, which resulted in me getting undeserved rewards or damage.

We're working on fixing notifications, but if you want to submit a bug report, your experience could help our developers: Menu - About - Support - Report a Bug. If you need to adjust your stats based on an accidental click, you can use Menu - Settings - Fix Character Values.

I'm not getting any notifications of the reminders I've set despite the app having all permissions turned on both on my phone and in the app itself. It's honestly very annoying and I hope this gets fixed soon considering I'm not the only one with this issue. Despite that, it's a pretty fun app that's pretty easy in use once you figure out how it works, I might give it a full score once the notif issue is fixed, because I just can't properly use it the way it is now

Hi there! If your reminders aren’t working when you’re not actively using your phone, it may be due to your device’s battery settings. Try adding Habitica to your list of apps that are allowed to run in the background or ignore battery restrictions. If that doesn’t help, please contact us via Menu > Support > Report a Bug.

- Improvements to reminder scheduling to help them appear on time
- Reminders should no longer appear if a task isn't due that day
- Your avatar now shows at the top of the screen when choosing equipment, letting you see how you look as you try gear on!
- We made it easier to choose what to do with tasks from broken Challenges so they don't get stuck on your task list
- You'll now be able to leave your Party if you're participating in an active Quest
