The music is very good but the gameplay is kind of a mess. It can take weeks to get some monsters to the outer islands, weeks to have enough currency to upgrade castles (necessary to get full song) or get structures needed for production. Several items take too long to make, because the individual components take a lot of time and/or the completed product does. And there's no reason things should be as expensive as they are. $50 irl gets you just over 1% of the most expensive structure.

This game feels like a more mechanically developed prequel, with more detailed item usage and a more rewarding gameplay loop. While I do prefer the wider scope of the original game, this one is not far behind, with equally amazing music and memorable monsters. My only complaint is that there haven't been any major additions in a while, and now that the prismatics have concluded, I feel the game needs something new. I expect something is in store, however, so I am excited to see where it goes.

Very fun game. I enjoy collecting all these cute little monsters and hearing them sing! There was something that was a bit upsetting. There is an option to play other games and earn in game currency for Dawn Of Fire. I played a game in hopes to earn diamonds for 3 hours and finally I finished the challenge! But it said I never completed it. Still a fun game though.
