Voting and Karma:

Instead of likes and hearts, Reddit’s social media network runs on upvotes or downvotes. Voting on posts and comments increase or decrease the creator’s karma, and helps popular and relevant posts rise to the top, while filtering out low-quality or irrelevant posts.

While karma doesn't directly impact your ability to use Reddit, more karma can increase posts’ visibility and help you get noticed. Some communities require karma to post or comment, which helps maintain content quality and community standards.

Join the largest social media platform and discover what matters to you!

One cannot even do the simplest thing: paste an http link to reddit and open the page! I didn't find any plausible place to enter it other than the search, and entering it into search, the app doesn't open the link but searches for it as a text string and of course it finds nothing. Dear developers, have you ever used your own app?? And, when I open the app, it always presents me with a long list of junk posts. I switched off the "feed" in the preferences, restarted the app. still there!

Compared to the old 3rd party app I used before, this app just stinks. A few interesting features now exist that I didn't have access to before but they don't make up for quality of the basic services. Before. I could draft my comment and save it to send later. I just got done writing a message only to have the app tell me there was an empty response from the endpoint... Would be nice if I could save that message and try later. Between the ads that try and look like posts, and the buggy service

Frustrating on just about every level to use for me personally. I don't like the way it shares posts, I don't like that they made multis hard to use. Half the time when I open it loads the last post I was on and you can't get to the home button until you click back about nine times. If The home button was always easily available and you could easily switch between multi reddits I probably wouldn't have a problem with this app.
