About this app

Microsoft OneDrive’s cloud storage secures photos, videos, and files to keep them protected, synced, and accessible on all your devices. The OneDrive app lets you view and securely share photos, videos, and files with friends and family. Plus, you can use the app to automatically back up your phone’s photos and videos. Start with 5 GB of free cloud storage space or upgrade to a Microsoft 365 subscription to get up to 1 TB of cloud storage.

• Browse all your OneDrive files and files shared with you.
• Automatically upload photos and videos to your personal OneDrive account using Camera backup.
• Share your files.
• Move, delete, and rename files, and create new folders.
• Open your OneDrive files in other apps, Word, Excel or PowerPoint.
• Quickly get to documents you've recently opened.
• Search for your files and folders.

Notes:
For you to sign in to OneDrive for Business, your organization needs to have a qualifying SharePoint Online or Office 365 business subscription plan. You can't sign in with an account from an on-premises directory.
Camera backup, search, sort, and the ability to add OneDrive for Business accounts are available only on devices running Android 4.0 or later.

Terrible changes with recent updates. This app used to be great for syncing and managing documents, but now they're forcing users toward photo backups. It’s clear this change prioritizes profit over user experience, as photos generally take up more space and you have more of them to backup. This pushes users toward exceeding the free limit and buying premium. They probably thought we wouldn't notice their motive. If you primarily use OneDrive for documents like I do, it has become an useless app

Terrible app since the change in Nov 2024. Now it crashes every time I click on something. How do I go back to a working version? And it doesn't update since 1 Jan 2025. Crashes every time I go to photos, Gallery. Boom, dead. Why do Microsoft think that more functions makes things better? It just makes for worse quality. No wonder people are turning to more reliable solutions

OneDrive feels like a virus you just cannot stop. It involuntarily moves files around, deletes documents from the desktop, uploads everything without the user's knowledge and is damn near impossible to get rid of. It has caused so much stress and anxiety while finding the new file locations and was feeling furious as I was trying to disable it. I will avoid the application at all cost in the future.
