All news services slant left or right depending on the agenda of those managing and funding the service. This has been the case since Colonial time, pre-Revolution. The AP, most of the time, reports news with the LEAST amount of bias. Most of its readers and viewers continue reading and viewing AP content. Simple. Not as left as CNN, yet not as to the right as Fox. .... Thank you. Thank you. The widget is back! Nice, great, in fact, to get a preview of current news before you enter the app.

Excellent source for objective, professional journalism and neutral coverage of world news. However, I've had continuing issues with the video player- it's tiny and doesn't have useful features like fullscreen mode, it will often keep playing audio after I close the app, and the video editing is often pretty bad, too.

I like the AP news in general, but the app pounds me with unfilterable notifications, and when I try to remove an undesirable topic from one of the twenty under "My Topics" by default, it says "Can not remove default topic". No thank you. Should be renamed to "Our topics, get on board". Update: You're now able to remove the topics, but it doesn't make a difference. I still get notifications for news I don't want, and the headings of the notifications don't correspond to the sections.
