I've stopped paying for the app and have kept the freebie. During severe weather, the app completely stops working or slows & doesn't update until the storm passes. Our neighbors experience the same. Both iPhone & Android are affected. I don't know if it's because meteorology needs to crunch data? Living in tornado alley requires us to have live, up to the minute info. TWC doesn't provide that. We've gone with Storm Shield. Disappointing is just one word I'd use. The others are 4 lettered.

I changed to 3 stars. I know my opinion probably won't matter to whomever helps develop this app but here's goes. The settings is so buried you have to click at 3 different places to finally get to it and it doesn't save my preferences. Every single time I go to the radar I have to go in and change it. And the new design is so cluttered looking. And as other reviews state the font is too small.

If I get a notification there is a tornado warning in my area, I shouldn't have to sit through an ad to view it on the radar. Yes, I understand ads are needed to make money, but it is completely inappropriate to have them pop up during emergency situations. The weather is also terribly inaccurate, changing from an 8% chance of storms during the day to a 98% chance an hour later when other apps are way more consistent.
