I tried others, but none did the job well for me. Most had too much going on. I just want to tune my guitar! This app is simple to use! And you only have to prove Einstein's Theory of Relativity once to use it! Easy, right? All seriousness aside, this is a great tuner! I even then clipped on my hardware tuner which I know is accurate and it agreed with the app, which means at home I can use either, but when I'm away, I don't have to remember to bring it! Awesome! :-)

While I used to use this app all the time it now chargers you to use it. It was one of few things that made it stand out. However the one off payment of $15 is not really that bad of a deal if you look at it's competition. For old users, including myself it's a bit of a pain having to pay for something that used to be free. Another thing is if you want lessons, it will cost you a subscription based payment rather than a one off pay. Also YouTube is available to everyone who wants lessons :/

Awful since the increase of ads. But it is a good tuner with plenty of different tunings and instruments. However, the ads really bog it down. Update since the most recent update makes you pay for premium to swap different tunings. Used to be a free feature, now it's not. Loved the app, but now.. not so much. Sadly, will be uninstalling.
