selecting photos from the app is a horrible experience, when you selected all the photo and wanted to go back up to check them, the window gets brought down when you hit the top without any buffer or warning. You always end up accidentally bringing down and therefore closing the selection screen and had to restart again, extremely frustrating experience.

I used to be very pleased with WhatsApp but recently the app has started erasing the message I am busy writing whenever I attach a picture or file to it. This never used to happen but now it has already happened twice, when I had just written a long message, wasting my time. Imagine this happening to you in Outlook; the content of your e-mail vanishing just because you attached a file... Frustrating.

Stop trying to be social media! I don't care who is doing what, I want to communicate quickly and efficiently. A notification should be for a message, not who had what for dinner on their "story"! Great app for sending and receiving messages/pictures. The camera function is terrible. Use your own camera and send pictures directly from your gallery. The voice notes are great and videos send pretty quickly. Would be better if the default quality was HD. Not just an option.

• You can now edit messages up to 15 minutes after sending. Long press a message and choose ‘Edit’ to get started.
• Group chats show the profile photos of their participants.
