About this app

SIGMA LINK enables you to download your trip data and transfer settings to your bike computer with your mobile phone.

With the models BC 14.16, BC 16.16, and BC 23.16 this works by using the NFC antenna. NFC is an international standard for wireless communication between devices on very short distances. Just put your compatible smartphone close to your BC to transfer the data.

The ROX GPS 11.0 connects to the App via Bluetooth Smart. With the connection of ROX and SIGMA LINK you can:

- have a look at your tracks
- share your activities in Strava, TrainingPeaks, 2 Peak
- see incoming calls on your smartphone screen during the training (smart notifications)
- download tracks from GPSIES and transfer it to ROX GPS 11.0

The direct communication with NFC and Bluetooth only applies to the bike computer models named above. However, you can transfer data of older SIGMA computers from your DATA CENTER to SIGMA LINK by using the SIGMA CLOUD.

If you need some guidance for NFC or BLE. Check our tutorial here:

The app works fine to import new rides and see all the rides you have done. It would be great if the tracks section could become more ellaborated, to make it also possible to import gpx files directly from your smartphone and create tracks in the app itself. Also, the graphs are not as accurate as on the pc, it would be nice if you could zoom in on the graphs, so you can evaluate the ride also on your smartphone.

Sorry but Sigma Link is just a pain in the butt. I don't want it to load a sigma website window by default every time I open the app. When I try to upload my most recent activity, rather than it having me pick the file out of the list myself, it checks the boxes of ALL activities I did not (for reasons mine to decide on...?) upload. And the NFC is unreliable and awkward to work with. This app makes me regret ever having bought the actual device and that's just sad. The PC prog works much better!

Works fine with my BC 16.16 over NFC. However, it only ever transfers the current ride. I usually have NFC turned off in the BC 16.16 in order to conserve battery, so it always takes forever to turn it on. Ideally, it would load my entire back log which is saved on the device itself. But I'd have to at least be able to download data from the past week in order for this app to make any sense for me.
