NOTE ON GPS SUPPORT: Strava depends on GPS for recording activities. In some devices, the GPS does not work properly and Strava will not record effectively. If your Strava recordings show poor location estimation behavior, please try to update the operating system to the most recent version. There are some devices which have consistently poor performance with no known remedies. On these devices, we restrict installation of Strava, for example the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 and the Galaxy Express 2. Love the functionality but utterly disappointed by how extremely restricted the free version is now compared to when I first started using the app 10+ years ago. There used to be a really great range of free features - really simple and practical things, including for example, viewing your full history on a given segment, or creating a route - which I now find to be premium features (after a few years off the app). I think it's a money-grubbing disgrace and I'm now considering alternatives.

Amazing app. Does everything I need it to do. It keeps track of times, distances, routes, speeds, averages, your fitness. As a paying user, I get to track everything I need and I know exactly where I am at to better set goals for myself. The Athlete Intelligence Beta is amazing, as it tells you how you've done after your runs/etc based on 30 day averages of speed, distance and which zones you were in, how you performed, etc. and gives you information you can work with/learn from as an indicator

Stick w 4 stars. MTB and Road added. Good. But no way to record stationary without connected app. There is still a ride of a certain time with associated HR. Have to record it in as elliptical. Additionally: Cross-country skiing: Differentiate classic vs skating, which is all different from back-country : ). Oh, another problem. As I age my max HR is decreasing. If I change it all the stats from yrs ago change as well. Now an expensive app. Standard is increasing!
