የዘካት አወጣጥና ህግጋት

Those entitled to zakat are the people who should be given zakat, and they are the eight categories that Allah has listed in the Qur'an. Allah said: "Compulsory alms are only given to the poor, the needy, the workers who work on them, those whose hearts are trained (in Islam), and those who free their shoulders, those who are in debt, those who work in the way of Allah, and the wayfarer. It is a duty prescribed by Allah. And Allah is All-Knowing, Wise." [Al-Tawbah: 60]
