Install the Air Alarm app to instantly receive an air alert notification in your chosen city or region of Ukraine from the Civil Defense System.
With the right settings, the app will loudly alert you to the alarm even in the smartphone's silent mode. The application does not require registration, does not collect personal data or geolocation data.
All regions of Ukraine are available in the application, as well as the ability to receive alarms only for the selected district or territorial community.
How the application works:
1. The operator of the regional state administration receives an air alarm signal.
2. The operator immediately transmits the information to the remote control.
3. The application sends an alert notification to users who have selected the appropriate area.
4. As soon as the operator sends an alarm signal, the users of the application receive a notification.

There is no option to disable "increased risk" notification. When setting sound for this notification to 0, it still interrupts any sound playing at the moment without pausing it. Expected behaviour: pausing the track/video on notification (i.e. like when recieving a call when watching video stops the video). The issue makes app very annoying, especially while trying to listen to something while having multiple "increased risk" notifications, so I've deleted it.

Sadly, it works very well. I had the chance to experience its functionality 3 hours after I turned it on. Basically, it warns you 5 minutes before the outside world does. At 4am, it gives you time need to grab your phone (it alarms the all-clear warning), a 7 2 pillows. If you are staying near a large city, with its power grid in the middle and its nuclear plant on the far side, it's a must-have app.

Thank you guys for your work, really appreciate it! But please stop improvising with alarm and sounds. The latest update with an additional voice tellng that you need to hide it's too much. Just the siren sound works perfectly in my opinion. And when the air alarm is over I think there is no need in creepy sounds and repeating, the voice announcing once that air alarm is over has done the job perfectly before.
