About this app

Okta Verify is a lightweight app that allows you to securely access your apps via 2-step verification, ensuring that you, and only you, can access your app accounts.

While you access your apps, you'll choose a 2-step verification method provided by Okta Verify to finish signing in. You can verify your identity using a push notification sent to your device (if enabled by your organization), a temporary 6-digit code, or biometrics (if enabled by your organization).

We do request permission to use your device camera so that you can scan a QR code when you enroll your device with Okta.

App works fine and sends push notifications when required, BUT will also send random push notifications advertising itself(why??? It's already installed on my phone...). Until you unlock your phone, it looks like someone is trying to access your account. There is also nothing you can change in settings to prevent this without just disabling push notifications entirely, which pretty much defeats the purpose of the app. Please change this or give us a setting to turn it off. Slow to launch for 2FA. I have to login to my VPN on my computer twice every single time, because the first time always fails. 100% of the time. Seemingly because the app notification doesn't launch fast enough the first time (you only get about 1 second to tap approve before it times out). The second time, the app is probably already to go in recent app memory. Please fix this, iOS users don't have the same problem.

More than half the time, responding to the push notification isn't enough. You have to open the app, see the failed message, and tap the button in the app for the signal to finally send. This program is awful, and the lack of developer email address to send hate mail to tells me they all know it sucks.
