Habitica is a free habit-building and productivity app that uses retro RPG elements to gamify your tasks and goals.
Use Habitica to help with ADHD, self care, New Year’s resolutions, household chores, work tasks, creative projects, fitness goals, back-to-school routines, and more!
How it works:
Create an avatar then add tasks, chores, or goals you’d like to work on. When you do something in real life, check it off in the app and receive gold, experience, and items that can be used in-game!

I have genuinely never had more fun being productive in my life. Everything from the UI, idea, execution, features. I love it so much, and that too, as a college student, the free features help me so much to be rewarding enough to strike off tasks. Just one small suggestion is to maybe add a little more detail to the avatar, I know the pixel style is your trademark, but the more beautiful the avatar the more motivated people will feel to get the latest costume and pets. Overall 10 stars 🤩.

The most fun you'll ever have doing the dishes. Habitica was a 'good idea' when I first found it in the early 2010's...and it's grown into something truly amazing. In the past decade they have not slacked off at all (go figure), adding useful and unique features and streamlining their UI year after year, all completely free. This team deserves all the respect they get, especially for their interactions with users across the board. 10/10, great work, please continue. ❤️

It's a really nice app for those who want/need a little push sticking to it's habits, thanks to it's gamification. It has nice widgets, which help keeping an eye at pending tasks and everything at hand. Also, the possibility to mark habits as positive or negative is a differential. Syncing (auto cloud backup?) is also great to have. However, one thing that I really missed are statistics, as I've found in other apps - being able to see the days I performed each task, frequency per week day, etc.

- Improvements to reminder scheduling to help them appear on time
- Reminders should no longer appear if a task isn't due that day
- Your avatar now shows at the top of the screen when choosing equipment, letting you see how you look as you try gear on!
- We made it easier to choose what to do with tasks from broken Challenges so they don't get stuck on your task list
- You'll now be able to leave your Party if you're participating in an active Quest
