About this game

Set in a realm of eternal night, Grim Omens puts the player in the shoes of a fledgling vampire, a creature of blood and darkness struggling to maintain the grip on their fading humanity in a mysterious and hostile world.

The game combines classic dungeon crawling elements, familiar turn-based combat mechanics, and various tabletop and boardgame influences to create an immersive and accessible old-school RPG experience.

The 3rd entry in the Grim series, Grim Omens, is a standalone sequel to Grim Quest. It refines the established formula of Grim Quest and Grim Tides, all the while offering an intricate story and detailed lore that ties in with previous games in strange and unexpected ways.

Inspired by ttRPG classics such as Vampire (The Masquerade, The Dark Ages, Bloodlines) and Dungeons and Dragons' Ravenloft (Curse of Strahd).

I've played all the Grim games and this is by far my favorite. The fact that we can feed on the enemy to replenish "supply" and health is phenomenal. The story, the environment, the enemies all have great variety. Such a great world building! The change from having to manage town defense to having servants is also great. All in all, a great improvement from the previous games. I can't wait for another game from you guys.

Every time this dev makes a game it just gets better. I've been with ya since grim quest, your first. Love the story telling, game play, it's easily the best game I've ever played on a phone. Better than a lot of console games if you ask me. I don't mind paying to remove adds, because the adds are optional anyway. You don't lock me behind an add wall, it's not pay to win, it's simple enough to play on mobile but still intricate enough to be very entertaining. Someone ought to give you an award

Another brilliant followup, and I think a better effort than Grim Tides because it tries less hard to be a followup. The mechanics are the same in the sense that veterans know how things work while still being faced with new concepts, challenges and strategies. The gameplay feels more balanced with more even abilities, allowing more freedom for customisation. Just to pick a fault, I'm not certain that the more artistic graphics are necessary, i preferred simplicity, but that's a tiny quibble
