Right Messages

This is the right app for me. I miss not being able to have a background photo for the entire app but you can customize the appearance of everything else. Since verizon killed their own text messaging app, I went to Samsung's. Then, after about 2 weeks and every time I open Samsung's messenger, it had a message to use Google's. Google's was very bland. It has a darkish mode. It's looks like a pastel mode to me.

I absolutely loved some features of this app. It has lots of options, no ads, and a nice look to it. But, the deal breaker was the group texts. This is a SMS app only. I didn't know that meant that instead of a consistent flowing group chat, messages get sent to each individual person, like you're just ranting random words in an unknown conversation. Confusing to everyone. Also, important to know, messages sent in this app will not transfer to another app. So now I'm missing messages.

I was looking for a replacement for Samsung messages, which will be killed off soon, at least on new Samsung devices. And I found Google Messages, which Samsung is pushing, to be a step down and backward as far as features. Right Messages does everything Samsung's app does and more. It has extensive useful configuration options that beats Samsung's by a mile. I highly recommend this app.
